It seems there are many flickr tools available. One of then is bubblr, a web-based application for making cartoon strips or similar constructs (or ?) from flickr images. The interface is limited but it does what it says it does. There is no apparent ability to embed in a website, but you can email links of your strips.

Here is a crude bubblr sample.

I am not satisfied with the flikr tools provided on Edublogs or by using a flash script in a text box (I deleted the flash script from the bottom of the sidebar). I found a flickr gadget I like at LabPixies. I uploaded a few pictures to test.

Here is the gadget feeding from a flickr photostream. (If you do not see it, it has stopped working for some reason — I do not know why. I just upgraded Firefox so maybe that has something to do with why I can’t see it anymore.)

UPDATE: It works perfectly in a Mac browser but not so much on Windows. No surprise there I suppose…

Try the controls on it. When set to ndpmcintosh it will feed from my photostream.
