The judges each voted for their top three choices. It was close between 10, 12, 13 and 14. In the end, the winner was (drum roll please…..) #12!

Congratulations to all the participants and we look forward to seeing how these shirts look when produced. Now, if we could figure out how to pay for an initial order!

Each year, the middle schools will take turns organizing a student design contest. The winning design will be put on the T-shirt for that year. Challenger Middle School (CMS) is fortunate enough to take the lead on this for the 2010 High Trails season.

In cooperation with the art and technology departments, we solicited design ideas from students. The competition was open to all students in grades 6-8 and the designs could have been produced on paper or by using a computer. We received 14 entries. The winning entry will be chosen by a panel of judges comprising a selection of CMS staff volunteers. The winner will not only have their design featured on the 2010 High Trails T-shirts (which could be worn by thousands), but will also receive a $25 VISA gift card.
